What they did

Indig runs a weekly index tracking both SEO visibility and AI mentions for big platforms over a rolling 28-day window. In this brief he compared the four weeks to 8 June 2026 and singled out Reddit, which had climbed for most of the AI era.

What they found

Reddit fell 11.7% in SEO visibility and 10.9% in AI mentions over the four weeks to 8 June 2026, the first time both moved down together since he started tracking in February 2026. X went the other way over the same period, up 40.9% in visibility.

How much weight to give it

It is one of the few running datasets watching SEO and AI visibility side by side, so it is useful for spotting when a big platform's fortunes turn. Both metrics falling at once is a genuine signal.

What it doesn't prove

The index is proprietary and cannot be verified from outside, and four weeks is a short read that can reverse quickly. Only the headline figures are outside the paywall, and platform-level numbers tell you nothing about how any single page or site is doing.
